ADVANCED PLACEMENT
The Advanced Placement (AP) program offers students flexibility and challenge while also providing credit for college and university programs. Advanced Placement (AP) is an internationally recognized program and is supported by 16,000 schools world-wide. The program was created by the College Board in the United States to allow for enrichment beyond the regular high school curriculum. Students who successfully complete AP examinations can obtain credit for university at many institutions.
While the courses have been created in the United States, they have been designed with Canadian curriculum in mind and they have the flexibility to meet local requirements.
